    Hey

    Just wanted to introduce myself.

I've been a member for a while but have lived in the mountains and haven't made it to any outings. I recently moved back to city life and look forward to meeting you guys and hanging out. I like nights in front of the fireplace drinking wine and reading a book... Oh wait that's nights in front of the T.V. drinking Old English and watching Porn.
Abba Zabba, you my only friend.

Trust me- nobody's too slow. We're cool enough to wait for you and my street ride is a F650GS... I've kept up just fine on the rides I've been on
I think what he ment was that they were too slow for him.

Ah, looking for a faster Beemer experience... I'd suggest Ninja_Nick's cohort known as Dalton..... he'll give ya a run or two

I actually outgrew the K75S before my accident on Monarch. I was riding mostly with a local sport bike group here in the Springs back then. The accident was a shame really (on many levels ); that bike was set up sweet (for a K-Bike, at least).

I've never really ridden with BMW people too much as they are a bit sedate for me (riding style wise). They are a great bunch of folks though, and being in the local club gets me 10% off at the shop .

I'm a more aggressive rider than most BMW people are so we don't mesh well on rides. I'm all for everybody riding their own ride and not getting pissed because someone else wanted to ride faster or slower and I got a lot of flack (from the same people everytime) for riding faster. I do like to be comfy though, so a Beemer seemed like a good choice and I've been wanting an R1100S since before they came to the States.

So, now that I've got one, I'm looking forward to all this damn sand & gravel getting kicked off the roads .

Anyway, I put a message in the Canyon Carver list for a Salida run tomorrow (4/7) if anyone is interested. Let me know (via email so i get it right away).

Currently bikeless, but will be BMW shopping again come springtime.

    Welp this is bad.

I came on these boards because I am thinking about selling / trading my 93 GSXR, and wanted to check out the "For Sale" forum. Of course like a jackass I started surfing around the various topics and no sooner did I click on a few threads I spit coffee all over my monitor from laughing too much.

This place is out of control, my kind of joint! Guess Ill be sticking around as the new kid.

So this is my official "Hello".

Name is Chad, live in Littleton, ride an old 93 GSXR with some nice mods (wanna trade?), full D&D exhaust so you'll hear me coming.

If we ride together you are in the back. D&D never rides in front of me way too damn loud

hahahahahahaha its funny cause its true!

But I have to say, having loud pipes gets you seen! They have saved me from being hit twice now, plus the look on an absent minded drivers face when I pop the clutch and blip the throttle ... priceless

Ditto my friend. I just got my Monster 620 used and it has D & D's too. Was going to change them but "loud pipes save lives". Besides, the looks I get from hardcore Hardley riders is hilarious when I pass them!

Yeah, our weather pretty much blows here. The only things Im gonna miss are whitetail hunting and my friends, but Im sure Ill make up for that in Colorado...

Cool. You'll like it here in Colorado. The Springs is a bit quirky, unless your a card carrying member of Focus on the family, Promise Keepers, or any other far right leaning organization, then you will fit right in
