    Exclamation Hwy 24 and flooding

For those of you not as familiar with the area, we had a wildfire between Woodland Park and Colo Springs last year (Waldo Canyon Fire). Because of the recent heavy rains and the fact that the burn scar cannot absorb any moisture, there has been
some serious flash flooding on hwy 24 (I would say 3 miles or so west of cave of the winds) and Manitou Springs.
Make sure you check the weather forecast before riding in the area, esp in the afternoons since this is when the storms usually start rolling in. Being on a bike in that mess would be a disaster.

Oh, BTW, I heard there was flooding on hwy50 as well due to the royal gorge fire, but I don't know where exactly on 50....
