close your mouth and wear ear plugs, it isn't the helmet
What brand?
Also in the future, post in "Gear and Accessories" where this belongs.
Unless this is a way to start another BS thread and get the most views.

odds are it's the visor isn't fully seated against the rubber seal around the eye-port. There should be one or more screws on each hinge assembly that can be used to snug the visor to the seal. I've only done this once, and it was pretty simple: remove the visor; loosen the screw(s); slide the hinge assembly towards the back of the helmet; tighten screw(s); check fitment.

Thanks Mr. Spiderman........I'll give it a try!
Just remembered... you may not have to remove the visor to do this... that might be helmet/brand dependent tho.

My helmets came with a little tube of silicone to keep the rubber seal around the eyes soft. It wakes a HUGE difference.Originally Posted by Spiderman

I had a helmet that started whistling suddenly, and it turned out that one of the little screws that is used to hold on tear-offs had fallen out and there was a small hole in my visor that was left behind. I just put a piece of scotch tape over it.
