The good, bad, and ugly of it..., August 27, 2007
By E. Mcnair "lamcnair" (Key West, Florida USA) - See all my reviews

I've had this for one month and so far it has:
    1. Made me turn the wrong way down a one way street and I almost got
hit head on, there was no sign it was one way.
    2. Directed me through the dope dealing part of a strange town at
2 A.M. down Martin Luther Blvd. and on through the back pot holed
alleys of the slum projects, unseen people were throwing rocks at my
car. I was not looking for dope, just my hotel.
    3. Directed me to a long abandoned boarded up gas station for gas when I
was on empty and two hours from any sort of civilization.
    4. Took me to a roadside tourist trap that when I came out someone had
cut my battery cable and they stood there smirking at me when I asked
where the nearest garage was and wouldn't say anything, really scared!
    5. Told me to make a U turn on a ten lane highway in heavy traffic.
6 Twice told me to take turns on roads that were not there at all, I don't know where it thought I was.

I think it is like that car in the book Cristine that has a devil in it that is trying to get me. No seriously, I can't trust it and am really lucky to have survived this far with the directions it has given me. Maybe I got a lemon but I have gone back to reading maps.

The good part of it is, usually it worked OK.
