Praying for you Bob!! Jenny and all...keep us posted. I have heard some news but will wait to hear your updates as they are available.
OK here is the info on Bob
He is stable and not in any life threatening danger
He has several broken bones among other things. Currently the hospital has him in a medically induced coma so that he can rest easier and they can administer medication.
They are unsure as to when they will begin to remove his medication and bring him out of his coma, but it will be at least a few days.
So I would ask that everyone give him some space at least until he is awake. Depending on how he feels I will post visiting hours and directions at that time
I would ask that you keep the rumor mill to a minimum and if you need specific information please contact me via pm or phone.....realize I have very limited access to the CSC while at work
Thanks
Joe
Heal up soon Bob. That was the worse crash I've ever seen
And yes, they did cut your leathers off

Bob,
Hope you get well soon. That was a really horrendous crash to see. As always let Dion and I know if you need anything!
Not sure if they are CSC'ers but we need to keep Steve Fish in our thoughts and prayers as he had a tough crash as well and Ken Hernan I believe was also taken to the hospital.

Be polite. Be professional. But be prepared to kill everyone you meet.

The track was keeping the hospital jumping yesterday. Luckily everyone was transported on 4 wheels and nobody had to be air lifted to somewhere. Get better soon Bob.
Best wishes for a full recovery Bob. I'm sure many of us stand ready to help if you need us.

The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Bob, hope you heal up fast buddy!
There were others too? Wow, last race of the season was a little too exciting. I hope you ALL heal up fast!!

Yesterday was a busy day for the medical crews and the rest of us doing crash response for sure... I don't know anything more on the other two who crashed. Steve's room is near Bob's in the hospital, but since I'm not family I couldn't talk the nurse into giving me more information. I don't know about Ken's condition either, other than his condition when he left the track probably didn't warrant an overnight stay, at least from what I could see of him in the 5 minutes post-wreck.
Like Joe said, Bob will be OK, but needs time to rest and heal. If you saw the crash you know how big of a tumble he took, so this is all really good news!

Maybe we can convince them to remove the flappy Canadian head thingy while he is enjoying his sponge baths and awesome hospital food!
Any good pics of the races? Don't care to see the wrecks but It is always cool to see you crazy fast people haulin' but around that track

Heal up, Bob!!
Heal up to all racers who binned it out on the track. It was absolutely crazy watching Bob flying through the air. It hurt just watching him. That pic of the back of his head is definitely memorable.
I've got some pics on my cheap digi-cam. I'll post up later the ones I think are good enough to post. I think they're almost all turn 7 pics.
