We will definately be there. I may not be able to ride with all the layers I may have to put on but it will be fun anyways.

Bash's are in!!!!!!
One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."
WAIT WHAT??!!!!!

I will try to make it, if I am unable to, will send my donation down with one of the people that are going.
1) If I have a suitable bike ready I'll ride.
2) If not, I'll volunteer to do corner work or whatever.
3) If you don't need help, I'll still come down to support the effort and to heckle Kawi riders.

Good to hear that we will have some people down to ride this late in the season.
***Important****
A few changes have been made to the line up and day's festivities
Tammy Schellinger (Team Vamar boss lady), Kris Hillman and Krissy Bash have volenteered to bring hamburgers, hotdogs and other assorted food and drinks for all the track day people. They will be selling the food with 100% going to help Boob errr Bob
I am currently working on having a couple of top local racers on hand to help out anyone that wants it. They will be charging $40 per twently minute session, with all of the money going to Bob....this is an awesome way to learn how to improve on you skillz ( or Jim's Mad Skillz)! And before anybody gets too excited, I have reserved two of the sessions for ME! These sessions will be on a first come first serve basis, with sign ups at the track. Right now Mark Schellinger has been committed (by Tammy) to be providing this service. I will let everyone know when I get commitments from a few others
In terms of the Newb class I have gotten a few questions as to how to sign up. Please post in this thread and hopefully a mod can edit the list so it is on one page. I need to know with as much notice as possible how many new track day riders will be in attendance so that I can have the appropriate number of insturctors. I like to have my student to teacher ratio as small as possible.
And by the way saw Bob today...he is doing very well
Joe
I'll be there to work corners.
I hope Bob's feeling better...get well man.

Me, going if I can find a ride
Please check the list above and let me know if you are in need of the class to ride at Pueblo. To clarify, to ride at pueblo you need to meet one of the following requirements:
1. Have a valid Race License from a recognized organization in the last 3 years (MRA, WERA, CCS, etc)
2. Have taken the Pueblo safety course
3. Have taken some other recognized track school (Keith Code, Jason Pridmore etc.)
If you've ridden at Pueblo already this year then your name should be on the list of approved riders and you will have no issue. If you have not then you will either need to take the course the day of the event or have proof (in the form of a card or a certificate) that you meet the requirements as stated above.
Please let me know if you need to take the course the day of so that we can be sure to have enough instructors on hand.
Thank you
Scott
I'm planning to join in on this and taking the class as well. Slightly tentative on some injuries healing in time... but I'm optimistic

Team Vanmar is bringing some great talent to the day that will volunteer as instructors to help you become a better rider. The list is starting to get long! Let's keep it going!
Tommy will be there, and he needs class, he doesn't have any
Do they allow schizo dirt bikes (DL-650) on the track? I will surely have to ride with the *really* slow group
I will have to see if I can talk Ride_CO into either coming down or letting me borrow his SV-650S

... so, yea, I have some debt
Tommy,
At IMI the DL is fine, but it's really not suited to the high speeds that are accessible at Pueblo. Bringing the SV would be a MUCH better choice.
I've added your name to the list!
Actually, as far as speeds go, the SV and the DL have the same engine, and only slightly different gearing, their top speed is only about 5-10mph different. The form factor, tires, and handling may be something to consider, but I have had the DL at 120MPH several times on that giant straight race track I ride nearly every weekend ... I am not saying the SV is not better suited, but "speed" is not the immediate concern in my opinion. Maybe I will just come down and watch :-/

Hi RYBO.
Im planning to be at Co-PoW all day. Its a saturday...so Im bummed to not be able to go. Would love to hang out and dust off the cobwebbs, but I gotta sell bikes, ATVs and sleds. I would also love to volunteer for other track stuff to work off some novice hours, and see everyone again.
Butcha know what? Its all about Bob, not me and my selfishness.Ill find some more donation money from my many jobs.
" But Mister, I just wanna ride!"
Maybe if I beg and plead Glennie will let me off!
