    El Paso County OHV Park

If we can get this created it would be a great place to ride especially in winter months.

There's another meeting tomorrow and alot of anti's have bee participating while not many riders have been able to from what I've heard. Several discussions on thumpertalk about it.

The next meeting of the El Paso County Board of Commissioners will be held:

Thursday, April 24, 9 a.m., at the Regional Building Department Hearing
    Room, 2880 International Circle.

If the Commissioners vote Thursday against hiring a consultant to lay out a
master plan for the proposed OHV Park, the proposal will die. Period.

There is also information included in the "Track Information" section (scroll down) at the Aztec website: http://www.aztecraceway.com/aztecfamilyraceway.htm

Apr 22, 2008 at 11:30:24Aztec Update Please send an e mail to the El Paso County Commissioners thanking them for their support of your OHV Park. Let them know that you are in favor of the Park. They are getting hammered by the opponents. It is very important to show our appreciation, and demonstrate our desire for an OHV Park.

I've biked this park and it is excellent. Perhaps some of the lessons they learned will help the El Paso project. Good luck.

This was pushed back to the May 1st Board meeting so there would be time for the Enviromental survey's to come back first. Think it's at their downtown location at 9 again. It would help if anyone else can attend for support as many people against it always show up.
