"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
--Thomas Jefferson
That's pretty sick.

Coming into 9 in the lead (with a nice lead mind you) his hand bumped the kill switch. He took the inside line through 10 and got passed by a hair over the finish line. He realized as he was coasting down the straight what had happend. Alot of riders don't have the kill switch locked with a pin (including you right Casey? or did you add that now?) anyway, needless to say Dave learned his lesson, we ended up finding out after the race that even if he had won that race it wouldn't have changed the final standings, so it wasn't as tragic as we thought.

Mmmmm purty. How do you do something like that? Paint it and put something (plastic wrap?) over while it's still wet and peal it off later?

thats called marbleing and its actually pretty easy. you spray down the base color and take a lighter shade of the same color or a different color and spray it on some saran wrap, lay the saran wrap down wiggle it a tad and then peel it off. you can actually do several colors. i have done a 4 color marbleing before. the more colors though the harder it gets.
it is a very nice paint job though. the painter obviously knows his stuff.
