Help PLEASE! Remove sheared fairing bolt?

Does anyone have any advise on getting a sheared fairing bolt out of the frame? Not sure how it broke of in there as I bought the bike used, but I would like to get it out and replace it.

Currently there is not a way for me to get it with needle nose pliers as it sheared off below the frame line.

Drill a hole on it and use an ez-out.

Head to your local home depot and pick up a set of ez-outs. the best ones come with the needed drill bit to match each ez-out size. Let me know if you need any help with it.

    BTW,
Whatever you do, DON'T break the ez-out off in it.
    (Been there, done that.)

Those things are hardened steel, to drill them out you'll need a $25 bit, not a $3 cheapie from Harbor Freight.

No bueno! I will check out the easy out. I just went and bought new bolts today, the dips*t before me used a screw, a torx bolt and regular fairing bolts, as well as a few empty spots. I am slowly correcting all of the little things while I wait to take my MSF this weekend!

I will also shoot a PM if I need any help. I haven't ever used an ez out before, but I'm brave enough to give it a go.

where are you located? If you're anywhere near Aurora, I have a set of ez-outs you can borrow.

Worthy investment to make if you plan on picking some up. I bought mine at Lowes

Nice, I'm in Centennial, so not too far. What did the set cost you?
