I got such a kick out of the Bycycle bell. I still laugh at how ironic that is.
I wish I had thought of that! Maybe I'll do the rubber handled " Honk-a, Honk-a " horn. ......Nice touch....good sense of humor!

You should see the looks the bicyclists give me in the canyons when I give em a little ring while passing them.

That's pretty funny considering you both ride Yamahas....

I have the Repsol gear..... so it works.

But if you'd prefer, Sean and I can play drop the duc:

No, that's not necessary. You can keep it between you if you want.

Dude, I totally set you up for a "your slow ass would have to catch me in order to run into me" reply and you just let it slide.

I swear man....you're just too easy going sometimes.

    Jeff,

I considered that. Then I realized that eventually I would lap you and you'd have a fine opportunity to run into me again.

True.....and rather quicky at the speeds you're up to lately.

Have you tried blindfolding yourself during the race and using the force?

Re: Track day on the 22nd?

    Ouch, thread of low blows!

Jeff, look forward to our next track day. Maybe I'll even put the mirrors back on, so I can find you. j/k as good as your getting, you're one step away from passing me in the corners.

We could play "drop the Duc" but chances are he'll still be in the pits fixing something while we are out riding. Besides, we wouldn't want to mess up those beautiful R6's. Scott should consider himself lucky...for now. Scott's all special...he rides a duc..he has a faster lap time than 2:34...he has "lines" that he follows "all of the time"...he's probably gonna ban me...what a snob! j/k
(This is until it does get running, and then he's gonna lap us like we're riding in neutral. sumuvabitch!)

I hear ya. Way to "color inside the lines" there Scott.

I figure it's like golf. Sure I could par every hole...if I wanted to.
I prefer to enjoy the full effect of the course and really get my moneys worth out of a round.

I bet there's riders out there that have never even taken the time to enjoy the outfield at PMP.
Nature riding with the prairie dogs and bunnys.....it's mother-lovin beautiful out there in the dirt.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir here. We think outside of the box my friend. You cut your lap time in half, just by going from t.2 to t.7. Who else has mastered that brilliant move? Sure, some people are "fast in the corners", but are they innovative?

    Exactly!
Guys like us don't just think outside the box....hell we LIVE outside the box!
    (And don't even bother thinking.)

Yeah Sean, the Ducati has been wickedly unreliable this season...can't seem to finish a race (in first place....got that second position pretty wired though)

Why focus on details, when you can embrace generalizations
(why do I always say stupid shit that backfires on me?)

Pretty soon Chicane Trackdays will have all the things a good trackday org should have. A curriculum for teaching new students, and a card or certificate that you get at the end of such training proving that you completed and passed. Maybe, just maybe a website.

    Have fun out there!

    Scott
Can you add me to the list? I was at the Labor Day event. I also didn't get any paperwork stating I took the class. Just in case I do decide to take the Gsxr to a trackday. Thanks Scott...
