Typically, the first couple of laps had big groups going through this corner...
Break time and sponsor shots.
Last lap...
...sorry for the grainy pic. I think I zoomed a bit too much to make it sharp enough.

This guy took the checkered in one race and then had a great match-up with a Kawi in the following race. I'm just gonna post all the various pix of this one...

Oh and yes...the sun was amazing today. We drove through pea-soup fog and rain...lots of rain in some spots. But, the skies opened up over the Springs and we had this window of sunshine all day at the track. It was wonderful. And an added bonus, I've got a nice lil sunburn going on my face;-)

I wonder what Mike (#25) is going to have to say about the series of pictures of him going "backwards."

Um...since I don't know the racers that well and I wasn't paying attention, I coulda gotten that series wrong in my camera. The pix are numbered sequentially, but when it comes down to it, I was beat last night when I got through all those pix. So, I'll just defer to the racers and they can correct me if I posted it the wrong way.

Great pictures Cathy, I'm impressed with how good they came out!
Ha! I'm pretty amazed myself, considering my camera has been dropped more often than I care to admit to. It was recently dropped in the sand as well and now the cover over the lens doesn't close. So yeah, some of those pix made me quite happy.
Rich and Scott...know what I'm gonna do when I get home? I'm gonna go through all the original pix in the camera just to find those particular pictures and find out which way the sequence goes. That's just how I am.
