I'd agree. Though the original one sucked, the general publics acceptability with homosexuals now a days should make this version much better. It doesn't have to be so ambiguous about it.

Terminal Man - my favorite book of all time, it was made into a movie in the late seventies but with advancements in computers and medicine a present day movie would be pretty sweet.

More than remaking anything, which is all I think Hollywood can do anymore,
I'd like to see some classic books that have waited around forever get made into movies.
Especially the works of Peirs Anthony, Allen Dean Foster, and Bradbury/Asimov books that haven't been done.
Also,
The rest of the Hitchhiker series.
Remake of the Dirty Dozen set in Afganistan/Pakistan.
Whoever said Bullet, great idea. As long as it's not some pussy wanna-be playing Mac's role and they don't turn it into a car commercial.
Would love to see some 30'/40's genre remakes.
B&W Film Noir detective movies with those killer ensemble cast of Bogart/Greenstreet/Lorey.
And maybe some Frank Capra type movies since we're going into a depression.
Oh, and remake Fritz the Cat.

I would love to see some Film Noir type movies... something with a plot that is deeper than a teaspoon...
Above remakes, I would like to see Hollywood actually create some new and interesting movies instead of rehashing old ideas... Use the genres and styles, but find an original story!
