CSC Winter Food Drive 2008!

In lieu of food, we could also take donations to be spent on flats of food at a costco or sam's club. I know my office was looking for a winter charity a few weeks ago, so if we can slap some details together, I'll take it down the hall & see what kind of help we can get

The only catch there is that this will not be a tax deductible donation, just FYI. There are also some rules surrounding charitable fund raising that I don't think we would be able to get around.

Probably best to just collect food and clothing -- even if that means you take the money down to Costco, buy the flat, and show up with it.

Okay my office is on the bandwagon.

Also, a thought is that we may call them and see when they want the donations dropped off.

They may have a cut off date for this kind of thing, as to when they will distribute it after it's received. 23rd may be too late.
