Good luck finding something you can wear to enjoy the track!!!

Yeah I have come to the conclusion that my only option is to wander into the woods and starve to death and let the beasties and bugsies feed on me.

Either that or go buy some leathers and have a steak dinner. The only question is who will hold my hair when I get sick?

None of your vegitarian freinds obviously, becuase they are weak from a lack of protien.

(I keed I keed, you sound like you could take it)

Not be a complete smartass (unlike the previous entry) but what about used leathers? Seriously, I mean you aren't killing any additional animals, those are already dead. I get that its a moral stance, and I applaud you for it. I actually do like Cortech, but when I am on the track I wear leather. When you are as bad as I am, its a need. So if there was a way to ease your dielemma, perhaps pre-owned is the way to go.

Yeah Natty suggested buying used too. Some small things like jello shots I can rationalize/justify to myself but I just don't think this is one of those things unfortunately.

    Hemp Suits FTMFW!!!

Rationalize it this way, your animal friend gave its life for someone else to use leather. That someone else is getting rid of it, so instead of animal friend giving it up just to be thrown away, you're giving dignity to the animal's sacrifice.

    k. that was way to hippie for me. I think I'm gonna go drool over guns & pictures of Ronald Reagan now.

Hahah I thought about that but I just can't do it. It's hard to explain the feeling that I get but it literally makes me sick to my stomach to even think about wearing one. I do like guns though if it makes you feel better

surely some of his other items could fit your bod/wallet.
I'm waiting on some of his Repsol gloves and had I not just picked up a new Astar suit that Repsol suit would have soooooooo been mine!. I might still buy it

    Re: Motoport Kevlar suit

Just in case anyone is as curious as I was, this is from the MRA 2008 rulebook.

    5.1 Rider Equipment
    A. Full coverage helmet with undamaged shell and face shield conforming to
    Section 6.2.7.1.
    B. Leather footwear at least 8” in height and in good condition.
    C. Gloves with leather protecting the palms and fingers.
    D. Pants and jacket of leather or aramid material (Kevlar) in good condition with
padding on the knees, elbows and shoulders. Separate pants and jackets must be
joined with zipper(s) to create the equivalent of a one-piece suit. Back protector
MUST be worn at all times when on the track.

If I am reading this correctly then this suit would be acceptable but many of the sidi boots you all rave about would not as they are made of lorica and not leather. Though I doubt anyone would actually tell you that they were unacceptable as they are technologically superior to a leather racing boot.

For the leather option I think something like this would work nicely..
