    O-Rings

    Hi All,

    I want to buy an o-ring for my slave cluth cylinder and the dealer only carries full rebuild kit.all i need is the o-ring, Where can i get them..Please let me know

    If you have an old one or know the size you could try a local hydraulic shop. We have one called Whisler Bearing here in the Springs. They carry a sh!t load of em. NAPA?

    Don't go getting a generic pack of o-rings from Harbor Freight or anything like that. Aside from getting the right size you need to keep in mind the intended use. O-rings are made from different types of rubber for different applications such as fuel systems, hydraulic systems and oxygen systems. The wrong rubber composition in the o-ring for an intended use may deteriorate it prematurely. A good auto parts store as stated above or a specialty hydraulic shop is best. As for credibility to what I'm saying, I'm an aircraft turbine engine mechanic and have been for nearly 10 years in the Army (active and NAt'l Guard). Good luck. NO LEAKS!
