The internet is not the best place to spill your guts about your personal life. What ever happened to talking to people in person? Soo much can me missed, taken the wrong way, twisted, or lost due to electronic communication. Get together with friends and hash this stuff out.

Re: How do you deal with a breakup???

1st: I look at what I did right.
2nd: I look at what I would adjust and learn from, as a learning experience.

    Here's some thoughts:
The stupid person is an intelligent person who repeats his/her mistakes. This works in dating, marriage, smoking, drinking, birthing, etc. (I'm not singling anyone out, but if the shoe fits...)

Never marry because of a child.

There is no such thing as too many blow jobs! Everything else should be in moderation.

Know when to walk away and when to RUN...

It hurts less to be the dumper than the dumpie.

Any person can be strong when he/she has a low interest level.

Resentment is the greatest killer of relationships, so don't hold-on to any.

While dating, remember that you're playmates. Play with your toys together OR a new playmate will be found.

Dating is similar to poker. You're either a player or getting played. Avoid the ego driven hate of the player's.

Protect the spectacles, testicles/ovaries, wallet, watch and your SANITY.

Gals should do more of the chasing. Their internal clock is ticking and the males stand the test of time better in the physical arena. Good looks and common sense don't always go together.

Go on with your life. Enjoying the time with friends and meeting new people. (Take time to smell the roses and daises)

If there is a child involved after a breakup. Always always always be respectful to the ex. It's a waste of time to gripe and the child might be listening. (I have 247 ex-girlfriends with 247 mini-Dappers. Stopping by 249 homes a month keeps thy busy and why most csc'ers don't see me.)

Avoid influencing your child about their other parent. They will hear it, see it and feel it for themselves.

Exercise! After the three-0, our metabolism starts slowing down, produces less repair hormones, etc. It's easier to stay in shape than it is to get back into shape. We need muscles to hold our skeleton together.

There is a critical difference between our chronological age and our biological age. Psychological age is our subjective experiences of how young we feel. Use self control and the biological age will effect the psychological age, then the chronological age is just ink on paper.

Keep a open heart and a open mind.

    Never take your ex back...

That's exactly why 'dating' is sooo much better than 'dating made legal'.

It's called pregnancy and yes, it happens in 24 hours after the penis discharges over 1 billion sperm. The smallest organic cell of the body hunts for the largest organic cell (egg) and fertilizes it, mission accomplished. That's part of responsibilities, right?

Knowing one is pregnant DOES make them change overnight.

change physically? yes. but if they don't give a shit about the pregnancy/baby then no they won't change their behavior. Most do, but not everyone does. some guys still continue blowing their money when they shouldn't, some girls will continue going out/drinking.

i understand that but you can't say that every single guy or girl that finds out they are going to become a parent will change. as i said, most do, but there are still a great amount that do not.

I know that none of the so-called soon-to-be parents change. I drove a school bus for fifteen years and the fucked up kids (and that was 99% of them) had fucked up parents. Amazing the correlation

and my thoughts of this from what other mothers and fathers have said is that for men it's not something that sinks in immediately. its more like they know what happened but its not real yet, sometimes its still not real when they're building the nursery, or when they see their SO's belly start to bulge. maybe when they see the ultra sound, or feel that first kick, or as late as the first week home with the new baby.
