We will be heading up this afternoon, riding thru Sunday.
The conditions are going to be awesome, all this moisture means no dust and huge traction.
I will try to post our location after we set up. Lets ride and not just talk about it

107 mi. thru the weekend including getting to ride the brand new 8mi. trail that was unvailed this last Sunday for the Poker Run. It goes from the Bar trail (2/3 towards the bar) to the parking area at the Entrance of Rampart Range Road. I pre ran the Poker Run course in the morning and the trail was part of it. It is a little wierd riding a virgin trail, actually it is kind of hard, couldn't get used to the fact that there wasn't a single whoop in 8 mi. I am sure after they ran 600 bikes over it it isn't so virgin any more.
Actually rode quit a bit of new trail this weekend, found some trail I never knew existed too.
A little wind can really screw a shot up

haha looks like a good time Dave. I really wanna run that new trail too. Man, 600 bikes on that run, that is a lot in a day

That is the sign up limit, but I am sure that was a long ride, having had to wait for poker runners a couple times on other trails. There are no good passing areas, so you only go as fast as the slowest riders.
You guys really need to come up with me, you will shit when you discover what there is to ride up there if you know where to go.
Yeah, we need to get sweetie off the main road and on to something fun but easy. I need to help her build her confidence up so she really has fun and is not scared all day.
Blind leading the blind. I don't know how to ride dirt

There are a ton of people doing it, so I figure it can't be too hard.
You can't do it 'till you start!
I'm booked til after July 4th, but will hook up with you guys then.

I was pretty slow loading up yesterday. ended up with 140+ miles this weekend.
Some fun trails and very little traffic.
We found the greatest campsite, it is in a bit off the road, can easily accommodate 2 RV's (with early out provisions), and is supper easy to find. Right next to it is a larger camp spot that could hold RV's and /or 20 tents They are separated by a 50' strip of land. both site are "cabled" so watching the drunks crossing back and forth would be entertaining.
Looks like the perfect CSC Rampart camping trip!
I agree, I am all for camping out this coming weekend Saturday night into Sunday. I may even be able to convince the Sweetie Pie to come too.

Pics look sic!
If I don't get sent back east and I can bring the KLX back from the dead, I'd love to join you guys in July for one of these weekends.
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
Thanks for leading the ride and especially for the loan of the bike.
I take back (half) the shitty things I ever said about you.
Man was I a hurtin' unit last night.
Plus I got a speeding ticket on the way back, like 10 blocks from home.
(Just 10 over so at least not big bucks.)
That camping spot is sweet, I'm up for a camp and ride weekend.

Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.
Cant go for the whole weekend this upcoming weekend but I should be able to meet up with you guys for another day of fun on the trails.... I should be moving around again by then... dirt is a lot of work. Thanks again for leading the ride.

Don't think we'll get up camping this weekend either, it's a lot of work
We should plan one coming up soonly.
Might make it up for some riding Sunday if there is interest.
We should get a good group too. More than just you smelly guys. Maybe some chicks man.
You may not like the Sunday group, Dave. Going green all day. Need to stay near the main road for the day. although, you can have fun on any trail.

Shame it took most the day to get used to it - love the electric start (saved my leg). good times. I think Bueller made those trails up!!! LOL...
