Anyone want to ride next weekend on Saturday or Sunday, depending on weather. I was thinking of heading to Colorado City on 115 to 67 to 96 to 165. Putting this out now to give plenty of notice. How about meeting at Gate 1 by the memorial with all the tanks say around 0900. Hopefully some of you want to, as I have no sportbike friends to ride with, new to Ft Carson. Let me know if youre in, dont have to be in stone but it would be nice to have an idea of how many will show up... if any. Thanks.
Come to SoCo's Friday bike night (7pm/1900) and meet some folks, military, civilian, liberal, conservative, old, young, fat, skinny, ugly, pretty, hair gel, helmet hair, no hair, tats, no tats, smokers, non smokers, male, female, other, whatever. Don't be shy and just show up. Look for the post, usually posted by Friday afternoon.

So(uthern)CO(lorado)...that is our region...we try to meet every Friday at 1900 at different eating establishments around town...most of the time, that is when we will discuss weekend rides...so you should try to come out this Friday.
Anyway, I would be interested in a Sunday ride this weekend.

We are also refered to as "Southies" usually by the Northies. They use it like an insult, becuase secretly, they all want to be us.
But the fashionable term these days is "Dirty South," or "Dirty Souf." Most will relate that back to the Nappy Roots, and while they really brought the term into the mainstream, I prefer to relate it to The Drive By Truckers, as lyrically, its a lot closer to who we are.
We try to caution all folks new to our particular flavor of internet sarcasasm, do not judge us by what you see here. Lots of good folks with a lot of diverse interest, as Zeta alluded to. Some parts do not mix well together, but that doesn't make them any less of a rider.

Ha ha, glad I could give some of you guys a laugh. I had heard the term "SoCo" before, but I thought it may be an actual place so I thought Id ask. So is the place going to be posted in the "SoCo" forum?
^^^^Yes it will cause we don't like to follow all the rules.
Also I am down to ride either day. However the second part of the route you posted well doesn't have alot of turns and is pretty boring IMO.

Thats cool, Im open to suggestions. I went on a ride with some of my Harley friends and they went that way, cant remember all of the route but I remember some nice curves on the second part, may have been only a few.
