1a) Typical. I can't keep track of how many times I've heard cops blame, after making a mistake, that it can be rationalized by the human factor. i call Bullshit on that. i was a paramedic for eight years. If I made a mistake it cost a life too. Along with newspaper headlines (sans the Aurora fiasco) and law suits I made a choice to not make mistakes. it can be done if one so desires. I would have a lot more sympathy for cops if they were up front and honest but sadly they are not in many cases. The six cops on the Aurora incident all lied on the stand. Fuckers -- all of um. And justifying that it is OK to make mistakes and hide faults and fuck-ups behind ones iconic beliefs is bullshit too.
2a) If I need a cop I'll call one. Until then they can stay out of my life.
3a) Why don't we begin here and now using the kinder and gentler verbiage of the word 'loath' instead?
My guess is if you are in need of buddies to ride with, you can always find others of your ilk in The Blue Knights or The Lawmen. Have a nice day.
