I know that some people are riding out to the races...
For the rest of us, who's down? Prefer a longish ride, not picky on routes though. Slower riders welcome.
UPDATE: Usually leave from MOCO, would consider 120th. Let's say 10am.

maybe
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" — Hunter S. Thompson
There's a start.
I am a new member so pardon the naivete. I am an old guy but a new rider. I've got a bit less then 500 miles in. I s the Sunday ride an appropriate place to get more experience now, or is there a better way? I know you said slowr riders are welcome and I am sure I fit that description, but I have no point of reference to say how much slower. Should I get more experience before joining the Sunday rides? You will not hurt my feelings in the least with your answer. I would be very embarassed to be holding up the whole ride. Thanks, Old Geezer.

Might not be the best rides for you at this point in your career, these rides are not the mellow Sunday rides advertised on the info pages of the site. Dont get me wrong, people will wait for you, and being older and wiser you probably don't have a problem with riding over your head? But you may feel a need to keep up which can lead to disaster.
I am going to be taking my GF on a very very mellow ride this afternoon if you wou8ld like to tag along.
If you can get rid of the embarassment about holding up the ride then you're welcome to come. You MUST be willing to show up at points on the ride and see everyone waiting. We're happy to do it, you however, must be willing to not hurry to catch up. We're all lazy bums who don't mind shooting the ***t for a few minutes at a time, and we definitely would rather do that than scrape someone up off the pavement.
You know I am down.
HAHAHA. Zach! You're WAY outnumbered now! It'll be a rainbow of DR-Z's!
Wait...let me rephrase that...
Indeed.... a rainbow... how telling....

Anyone NOT okay with an 8:30 meet time? I'm offline till late tonight or I may be too drunk to do anything but wake up and ride.
Someone please call me if consensus says 10. Otherwise...see you fools at 8:30!
Bueller,
Thanks for the advice and the invite. I got the message too late to take you up on it but I do appreciate it. Since these are weekly rides, maybe I'll wait another month or so--could be cooler and more comfortable then also.
Thanks again.
Old Geezer.
so you got a new bike or wtf?

all you need to know is where the ThorCo is
Conoco just west of 25 on 120th.

wish I was going out to suport our racers tomorrrow @HPR but as it stands I might be only doing a slow one through the Poudre with a select few.
Geezer, welcome to the CSC
