Dunno if the Distanzias have enough tread depth, but assuming they do, it should be doable. Depends on the bike, but a lot of the dual sport tires are available in sizes that can be made to work on sport bikes

Well they are mounted on my 08 DRZ SM when i get it up here i'll swing in and we can see.
