    Re: 2005 R1 build.

Change of plan, white seems to have more popularity then the Raven (or the same). Everywhere I go I see a white bike. Im mean I can get whatever color I want for the hell of the price I'm getting it for.

    I went through:
    White
    Red
    Lambo Pearl Orange(awesome color)
    Black
Even making a black and Pink bike (lol)

BMW, Honda, Suzuki, yamaha are all producing white bikes.

But after long planning, debating, looking at other owners pictures, and hours on Microsoft Paint. I guess i'm sticking to a gloss black. BUT not to keep it lookin like the typical Raven. Me and my painter have a few fancy ideas up our sleeve. He decided lets keep her black but add/paint tasteful pieces to highligh the bike. And Since black goes with everything I can choose whatever color I want

The Final decision Gloss black, Plus little painted highlighted parts (exhast cover, heat shield, wheels, calipers, etc. to compliment. Hope you like. Getting her done after my track day on 9/13

Im not no Chip Foose but I was make the everyday Raven look 10x better then it is now.

    And other colors are welcomed

(Im not a bling bling, show bike type of guy, I believe sportbikes belong on the tracks abd canyons and not have Hydros, chrome, spinners, tv's, and candy paint on them, save that shit for cars)

Will differ a from the factory look. Maybe we can throw in that lambo orange to replace the gold.

    That might look pretty sweet.

I wish I had that type of technology to help me design. All I have is Microsoft Paint. It's like using crayons. Unless someone know how to photoshop on here.

FWIW, I LOVE white bikes and it has very little to do with looks.

White stays super cool in the hot sun, stands out more in traffic (you don't look like a shadow like you do on a black bike).

    Re: 2005 R1 build.

Ok I got a couple of photoshops up for the paint next month, I gotta start sanding and doing body work here in a few weeks hopefully right after my trackday after the 13th.

White or orange even though the orange didnt come out as planned (think about a pearl orange or repsol orange). Some other parts will be painted to...but here is the basic. Let me know what you guys think.......

Even though I kinda feel like black and white is played out I really like that combo on that bike. Go white!!!

I think the white on black really "snaps out" but the lambo orange with black is a close second choice for me.

I agree - I really do like the white & black... I think it is the contrast that makes it pop.... the Orange reminds of KTMs which are hot too!!!
