It will not allow me to get into 6th gear. A couple guys on the gixxer.com site had the same issue and said that lengthening it a little bit solved the problem. However, still have not heard back from them on how to do it. And since I want to run the track on sunday I need a couple days to get use to it again you know?Originally Posted by hcr25

i have had a 06 and 07 gsxr 600 and 07 and a 08 750 gsxr and not had this problem either.

Both Mike and Steve are correct. There is no need to "lengthen" the shift rod to change the bike over to GP shift
My guess is the people on Gixxer.com did not reinstall the shift "knuckle" at the proper angle
