Anyone have there tank covered with a clear bra? My tank bag has scratched the tank a few times on the SV and I want to avoid this on the D675

I have it done and i highly recommend it JJ. Most places will do it, and pretty cheap. since it doesnt require a ton of work

They're about $20 from what I remember and they're not so much actual pads as they are protective film to avoid scratches. the nice thing is that there's no glue involved in case you wanted to replace them with something else

Now that would be something to produce and patent...a clear bra. No straps to view hanging outside a tank top....no dirty straps from skin bronzer......and no showing through as a different color under a white t-shirt.

He did the tint and clear bra on my aviator and tint on my LR3 and he is VERY detailed and does great work for good prices. Not sure if he's done any work on bikes but as much of a perfectionist as he is I would trust him with mine.

+1 on Clear Bra on the tank. I have some pieces on the sides and back of the tank on my RC51 to keep my leathers from scratching the tank.

Yeah i've been wanting to do this to my front as well. Since it's a new bike, i'd like to keep it looking new and not all beat up from rocks. Know anyone down in the Springs? I've called a couple small shops and never get a return call.

check out the tankslapper for a non permanent option. if they dont have an option for your tank you can get it in uncut sheets for custom applications
2000 tillis plus stuff with some polished stuff and some carbon fiber stuff and a little bit of tlr stuff and some gsxr stuff
Should be around $70 I believe with the thicker material unless you just want the sides done.
nope I want the top of the tank done too to protect from my tank bag
