Aw shit that is tempting. Where are you going?
MoCo = Morrison Conoco off of c470 and Morrison Rd.

I'd be up for a casual ride Tuesday or Wednesday if tomorrow doesn't work out. Or even if it does . . .
Like v.929 said, MoCo is the Conoco in Morrison. Take whatever route you want to get up to 470 (personally, I prefer going up through Deckers, then taking whatever the Douglas Co. road is up to Pine Junction, then 285 north to 470), then get off on Morrison Road, hook a left, and the Conoco will be on your right.
im not sure how the road conditions are but we could head up to deckers if its not too sandy/icy?? any1 hear anything about that area? it would be a good ride, weather is going to be good too!
Conoco, 16283 Morrison Rd, Morrison, CO 80465
Bear creek was clean up and down. Parmalee Gulch was clean going up, but the down bound lanes had a lot of sand in the corners. Deckers was good last time I was there except the few miles at each end. Horsepower hill is always worth it. 285 is always a mess coming down thru the last few corners near Morrison, shady and plenty of run off with lots of construction bumpiness.
thanks pj... sounds like we could head up to deckers then! hope to cya at moco 11am!

We're game for Deckers but still have no idea where MoCo is
I have 2 bolts I need tap out on my bike in the morning then we will be ready by noon.
Be careful up between Deckers and Pine Junction. Still gravel and muck on the road.
Imma girl....so what! What's your next question?
Pass. I'll just be getting home from class when you guys are meeting at moco. Be careful.

I just mapped MoCo from where I'm at (work)...flippin' 14 minutes. And phenomenal weather. And...work. Damn. I'm jealous.
And where is Deckers and Pine Junction? I see Bear Creek on the map (duh...just west of MoCo), but am failing to find the other two places. Yeah...I'm totally new to the area. And by area, I mean the state. =)

Darth, the Deckers run is one of the sweetest nearby rides in the area. Definitely one of my personal faves.
Deckers: http://www.mapquest.com/#ed4c6fd8e5749bab8a924db2
Pine Junction is the top of the ride at 285. You'll run through Pine, Buffalo Creek, and on into Deckers. If you keep going south you'll end up in Woodland Park.
You'll love it!
Hmmm...not sure if that Mapquest link worked. If you can't find Deckers, just look due west of Larkspur and I-25.

Would have finished on Deer Creek but I hit reserve 1/2 way down Turkey Creek.
D is Pine Junction; F is Deckers; E is the town of Pine.

Thanks Guitar and Zach for the links. That run to Deckers does indeed look amazing. I was looking north of C-470 when looking for Deckers, as that's where I've read all the great riding is at. But man oh man...that south route will be sweet to ride.
And three hours start to finish (not counting possible gas and/or food)...that's not bad at all. I can't friggin' wait!
If someone wants to do this on a nice weekend sometime, then please hit me up. =)
