Description:
· Develop, maintain, and expand the SmartGrid.gov interactive website using Drupal and PHP.
· Integrate data and information pulling from the MySQL database
· Develop Web site presentation layers utilizing programming and scripting languages
· Utilize strong skills with Drupal CMS theming and modules
· Create custom Drupal modules
· Visualize data via charts, graphs, and other visualizations using dynamic data.
· Transform flat-file graphical designs into Drupal themes or UI elements for Web pages
· Design and develop scalable, modular, and manageable Web production features defined by product team using various design patterns and a combination of contributed and custom Drupal modules
Requirements:
Working knowledge and experience relating to:
· Senior-level PHP skills and strong knowledge of SQL relational databases
· Solid experience with programming and scripting languages
· Working knowledge and experience with the Drupal CMS, including theming, modules, and customization
· Portfolio of prior work showing competence in CSS, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, and/or AJAX
· Creation and maintenance of clear, concise documentation and user manuals
· Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
· Reviews requirements, specifications and designs to assure product quality
· Tests for product quality or performance assurance
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Web design, information technology, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred:
Working knowledge and experience relating to:
· Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Drupal Web sites
· Understanding of Section 508 accessibility compliance guidelines for government Web sites
· Mastery of latest versions of CSS, HTML5/XHTML/XML
· Working knowledge of current best practices for Web design and programming
· Advanced understand object-orientated principles
