    Summer ride to Cali

So after I get married this coming July, we plan on doing a motorcycle trip for our honeymoon. Basically we are going from here to Madrid, NM to San Francisco, up north a little of San Francisco to reno and back here.

Overall any suggestions of any good roads in those areas? Other then that all I will say it's going to be an interesting 2400 mile ride on a CBR600 for me.

Hwy 35 and associated roads starting just south of San Francisco and heading south. Be sure to stop at Alice's Restraunt (if it's still there). Hwy 1 heading north out of Mill Valley. Go as far as you want, it's all good. If you go on a weekend be sure to go early in the morning to beat the tourists in cars. Monticello rd. from Napa to Lake Berryessa and associated roads. All great roads, have fun!

If you go up Hwy 1 be sure to stop in Point Rayes Station for breakfast. There used to be a Sunday morning ride that started from the Arco station in Mill Valley at about 7:00 AM, but I don't know if it still happens. It was a lot of fun back in the day.

Must go to Mustard's Grill in Napa, it's the best dinner I've ever had anywhere, and I know how to eat! There's a lot of B&B's around there or just cash in a few Marriott points. Also, don't miss the cioppino in the bay area. http://www.cioppinosf.com/

I may have to budget in that restuarant there PunyJuney it looks awesome, even though a bit pricey.

Overall getting ready for the trip. Finally got some minor ride time in, but with the weather getting better, new boots, new helmet w/ bluetooth and saddlebags I should be set.
