"You live more for five minutes going fast on a bike like that, than other people do in all of their life." - Marco Simoncelli
I saw that and had to rewind to watch it again it all its glory

Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
That's priceless. Couldn't have happened to a ..... Guy
he should have torn his ACL or something doing that...
Is there any doubt Rossi would have won, considering how he was running like a man on fire, had he not attempted the worst pass in recent memory?
LOL that was awesome!
How different that race would have been in the dry, I definitely think Rossi would've ended up on top, but it everything is really up in the air in those conditions.
Was pretty cool to see Simoncelli (sp?) up there for a while too.

Be polite. Be professional. But be prepared to kill everyone you meet.
"Motorcycles tell us a more useful truth: we are small and exposed, and probably moving too fast for our own good, but that's no reason not to enjoy every minute of the ride."

What a race! That was great! It felt like an abusive relationship.
- Stoner must still be pissed. More fuel for his anger towards Rossi.
- Simoncelli was kicking ass and taking names. I can't believe he almost saved that highside. He rode strong.
- Rossi rode his ass off. From 12th on the grid to 3rd, then rode back up 15th to 5th. Weaving through the pack is where he really shines. So much fight in him.
- What was up with Dovi? He looked like crap! Something shook him up.
- As much as I like Caparossi, I was happy that Hopper beat him after he was talking smack.
- I cried on the inside when Edwards had lost 3rd place. His chances for MotoGp domination are slimming down.
fuckin Spies...enough said
Stoner was and probably still is pissed. In an article I read, Rossi went into camp Honda and apologized in person to Stoner, but Stoner later was quoted saying Rossi did it for the cameras and not for the actual apology...
Ah rain... the great equalizer. I don't think Rossi's turned the Ducati around so quickly. He's stated that it's almost as bad as when he first joined Yamaha. Lots of work to do on the bike and himself to get back on top. I'll bet had it been dry, it would have been a repeat of last week w/ Honda and Yamaha running away with it. I think he'll get there, just not so quickly.

I don't doubt that it would have been different. Hell, Hiroshi took 4th! You can't really get a feel for anything with that race, but it sure was fun to watch!
Hate to say it, but big props to Jorge. He kept it together the whole time and kept the pace. At age 23, he's a hell of a rider.
It was a really fun race to watch...
WHO'S GOING IN THE GRAVEL NEXT!!!

Looks like Colin's engine seized. How does that happen on the last lap? Link
Man, I was so excited that he was going to be on the podium. I thought it might give him a little more fight and he'd run up front the next couple races.
“Well that sucked dog testicles”. Quotes like this is one of the reasons I've always liked Colin Edwards.

Stupidity should be painful.
One of the many reasons Colin is awesome.

I was pissed at Rossi. That's the dumbest pass attempt I've ever seen him make. He was headed for the front (where he belonged) and he didn't have to get it done there. He was going around Stoner regardless. Instead he prevented himself from winning the race and looked like an as for taking the season favorite out in the process.
Then we look at Lorenzo. He was the model of discipline and "smart" riding. As a result he won. Hayden and Pedrosa rode smart and stayed out of trouble, as a result they put it on the box.
I said it before, I'll say it again. Lorenzo is the guy to beat this year.

Couldn't agree more. I had some high hopes for him this year but he is just not delivering. I know its just race two, but it's like he can't pass anyone!? Where's the drive? The passion for the win? For example, Simoncelli is showing some true grit. It's that attitude that makes for a champ. Its one reason why Rossi is so good.
We'll see if Spies can bring something more to the table but right now I am a little disappointed.
Hold on to your butts.

I've read where Rossi says he didn't intend to make the pass there. Stoner broke early (Stoner confirms) and Rossi made a last minute course change up the inside instead of hammering on the brakes harder.
I'm not saying Rossi isn't at fault, he still screwed up, but his intent wasn't to dive bomb Stoner.
