It's not "your" event I was complaining about. I was talking about the prep of hooters. I understand that sometimes (really all the time for these events) numbers are not accurate and the location is understaffed. But as a manager if i just let someone go home before the rush I would at least let the customers know the situation. The waitresses could have said "sorry for the delay we are short staffed" or something of that sort. Not be seen standing around the drink machine talking. I was at the walnut room for the last event and experienced a much different time. They had less staff and more customers than the hooters event but the staff hustled and would constantly be checking on us. So please don't think I am knocking the event itself. I am respect for anyone that can put these functions together. If I had blamed you I wouldn't go to any other events.

In Jim's defense I have seen many people put together these social events through the years and it is not easy work; you think it is then try it. He works hard then people complain, so I could see the frustration.
To me the bike nights Jim has orginized have been some of the best especially with CSC growing each day; not an easy task. I am just happy they are on for another year. Thanks Jim and everyone that make this happen

They were not too of the line but not horrible either. Remember we went on a Sunday afternoon. They aren't goin to give us the A girls. The only one that stood out to me was the pregnant girl. I gotta give her props for working on her feet all day being that far along.
This thread became totally off topic. I think it should be deleted.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

All you have to do is ask, they usually won't tell you why things are taking too long. We ordered as the race was starting, and didn't get our food until the race was over. We asked the girl why it was taking so long, and she explained to us what happened. All you gotta do is ask.

I dunno.... being from a family that was brought up in restaurants, the customer is always right, even when they are wrong. The customer should NEVER have to ask for a situation to be corrected, that is obvious to staff and patrons. That includes having to ask "What the fuck is the big fucking deal with the fucking 90 fucking minute fucking wait time?" Sounds like a bitchy customer that would cause an employee to want to spit in a burger.
Just a couple weeks ago, Leah and I went up to La Fogata in Hwy 7. We sat down and after 5 minutes, nobody had come by to say a word to us. I started a timer on my phone so I could mention to the manager how long it took, if it got ridiculous. Within 2 minutes, the manager comes over and says "I'm so sorry, we had a staff mixup and someone should have been over here already to take your drink orders. Huge apologies, what can I get you to drink? Also, can I buy you an appetizer?". Immediately, I was happy. We refused on the appetizer, and he brought one anyway. He stopped by a couple times to make sure all was ok. I had a little chat with him before we left, thanking him for being such an attentive manager...
Point being, good management doesn't wait for problems to arise, they actively seek the problems and correct them before the customer can complain.

I like Jim's bike nights. I am just not a fan of hooters. I have gotten sick from a few locations before and vowed never to eat at one again. But the bikes, titties, and beer are nice.
Won't be there till 8, that's if we can make it.

True dat!! Yeah, people act like it's rocket science. It really is an easy fix if you're attentive!
The food does really suck at Hooter's (all of them) and that has nothing to do with Jim. It sucked before I ever met him! It's an easy fix, though. We eat before we get there. Now, the Walnut Room has great food!
The chicks at the Parker Hooter's are pretty hot! Since we're alcoholics, we'll be there. It's down the street, so less weaving to get home...
BTW - Pregnant chicks are sexy!! Well... as long as I'm not the one who knocked 'em up!! Which would be a pretty good trick as Kim had me neutered about ten years ago.
