Hope you guys had fun. Kenosha pass was completely clear on 285. A little chilly, but clear.

We hit a few different trails near Kenosha and there was still a lot of snow around 10,000 feet so we could only go so far. We tried a few different spurs then headed over to Webster pass. Webster and Red Cone were both closed but we headed up as far as we could go on Webster but the snow made for slow progress and it started getting late so we headed back. One funny thing was a Ford Expedition that tried to follow us and got stuck in some mud. My camera decided it doesn't want to work any more so I didn't get any pics but one of the guys had a gopro and got some good video. He hasn't put it up yet but I will post the link when he does. It was a lot of fun and I want to go again but his time with a camera that works.
Great weekend for sure. We started off at Kenosha and hit FR810, 809, then 811. Most ended because the snow got too deep.
Water crossing:
Lots of aspens:
Here's the Expedition AJ is talking about. It was PACKED with like 10 people and you can see the mud puddle they tried to turn around in:
Heading towards Red Cone/Webster. Red Cone was gated off and we made it only a little ways up Webster. We broke trail on pretty much every run:
After Webster we tried Hall Valley but again the snow stopped us. I got stuck twice trying to break trail through the drifts:
It was a great day and I can't wait to get back up there when the snow is gone. Lots of awesome camp spots.
All my pics can be found here.

^^^ Looks like a nice easy outing...
It was pretty easy going except for the snow. We could of gone alot further than we did if there wasn't as much snow. I'd really like to head back up there and check it out some more.
I haven't been down there yet but it looks like fun.
it's a blast!

How do you like the Duratracs? Of the 5 rigs that went 3 of us had them. I've had them for about a year and have had no problems with them. Is Eagle Rock difficult or not so bad? I looked it up on traildamage and they say it's a 5 to a 7 in difficulty. Some of the stuff I've seen on there isn't as bad as they say it is.
love the duratracs wont buy anything else. eagle rock in no joke! gotta have clearance for it and would deff. say bring a winch
+1 for the Duratrac's
We are going out again this Sunday if anyone wants to join. I'm not sure of the trail yet (might run Twin Cone) but I will update the thread later today once we decide.

Alright so here is the plan for Sunday for anyone who wants to come. Its an easy trail with more difficult options for the lifted guys. A stock 4X4 should be fine.
Starting with: Metberry Gulch

Then we are going to hit: Hackett Gulch

Post up if you want to tag along. Weather looks great and these trails should be fun

I saw they posted it on facebook but wasn't sure about the day. You beat me to the post Casey damn you! I'm in for this just means I can't stay out and drink after the show on Saturday which is probably a good thing.

Pretty sure he doesn't have as good of articulation as most vehicles, but good on him for at least attempting to get out there!
I commented on it and they responded that it was for Sunday in Sedalia so I will be there. Hopefully I won't be late.
Wow. That looks like a blast! Hopefully you guys continue this throughout the summer. At least I hope so for when I am available to join.
Are Land Rovers welcome?
RIP Gene. You are a good friend that will be missed. I'm Gene Bazyl Bitch!!
Just wanted to see who plans on going this Sunday so we can make sure to wait up for you. We are meeting in Sedalia at 8am. There is a small gas station/country store right after you pass the first railroad tracks called Jarre Mart. My plan is to stop there to grab some food and drinks. AJ I know you plan on going right? What about you Canuck?
Anyone else? We will be hitting Metberry Gulch first then Hackett Gulch. If you only have time for one trail thats totally cool too.

I'm in for this one. I've got a feeling I might be a little late but I'll be there.
