RT 67 from Sedalia to Woodland Park

The plan is to meet a buddy from the Springs in Castle Rock and then go for a good ride on Sunday. We both have street bikes so dirt roads are out. What is Rt 67 like between Sedalia, Westcreek and Woodland Park? Is it paved or dirt?

Any better suggestions from the Castle Rock area?

Hey Birchyboy, here is a video of 67 from Sedalia to where it turns to dirt:

It's a fun road but you have to be a little careful due to gravel in some of the corners. Some guys take their streetbikes all the way to Deckers. I don't, I just turn around at the dirt road.

If it's dirt, it's out :-( Thanks for letting me know.

Dirt for either 3 miles with a steep grade at times if you go West Pine creek rd (right @ Sprucewood), or 9 miles of dirt if you stay on 67 (Sugar Creek Rd.).

My buddies got a HD Road King which is allergic to any amount of dust. I'll have to figure something else out.

Unfortunately there is no way to get to the good roads without either going up to Denver or down to Colorado Springs. With your friend in the Springs I would just meet him down there and you can find a good ride easy.
