No mountain view, but Del Frisco's at Belleview/I-25 has some of the best steak, period.

La Sandia is good... Only suggestion that I have seen that has a great shot of the whole front range. Trappers is great if a patio is passable.

Isn't there a really good Italiano place in DTC off of I-25, starts with a M, and you can't walk away without two bags full of leftovers?

I remember it faces the mountains...

Rent a helicopter at Centennial Airport with in flight Diamond Cabaret strippers, fly out to the Fort to eat roasted bison marrow bones and tongue, then fly up to Vail with Shotgun Willy's strippers to the The Wildflower for the salmon and wine.

That should cover the full "Colorado Experience" for them...

Actually...... the Perfect Landing at Centennial has good food, I think a more formal atmosphere at dinner, and big ass windows that overlook the mountains and $30 million jets taking off below (guessing they could probably also look out on theirs, depending on where it's parked).

I thought of this, too. Maybe next time. Some of our guys occasionally fly into Centennial, but then the Channel 7 chopper usually ferries them off to wherever they go from there. There's no such thing as impressing that crowd.

    Sounds awesome!

No view, but its very nice right Downtown, Fogo de Chao
    http://www.fogodechao.com/index.php?id=70

We have gone many times since it opened (maybe 5-8 times so far), it cost around $45 a person, the wine list is huge, service is very impressive, food never lets you down. Free valet parking too which is always a bonus in the city. We now take guest here that visit us, well worth the drive up to Denver. However for those on a budget Lunch cost $25 and its still the whole menu as if you get at diner and service is just as good.

Another great place is up near Keystone: Ski Tip Lodge (not sure if they are open in the summer). That will set you back $100-$120 a person. I think our bill for 4 people was $450 before tip.

They might even see a heard of Elk wandering by. They do have a nice patio and a great happy hour, but you can't reserve tables for dinner outside. If you reserve inside, make sure you ask for the tables with the city view... otherwise you'll just see trees out the window.
    +1

It's a chain, but Charthouse is great food. Big fan of their prime rib. They also have a patio if I'm remembering correctly.

If you want, you can always do cocktails at one place and then dinner at another. The bar at the top of the downtown Hyatt is usually fairly quiet and offers a spectacular view of the Rockies and part of downtown Denver. Higher dollar drinks, but it's also a bit nicer of a place. After that, you have all of lodo at your disposal for dinner.

Other options might be a restaurant in Park Meadows. PF Changs isn't exactly a formal place, but they've got a patio and a very nice view of the rockies, so if you can find a place near them that's higher dollar, that might work.

For just a good formal, expensive place to eat, Shanahan's is pretty ritzy on the inside, as is McCormick & Shmick's. Both are in DTC. No patios or views though
