Holy shit Grim, how old are you?
I think I just felt old for the first time in my life...
You know... the TV channel... Fox... and prime time... right around dinner time... like, 6-8pm... prime time... supposedly the best shows the network has to offer?
Respect and truth trump all!
I don't get lost. I explore.

Capt., there are no hard feelings on my end, we all acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of riding these 2 wheeled contraptions when we hit the road...the risk here was riding in an unfamiliar group, where one must be prepared to react to unexpected situations, I came underprepared.
Swift, I am glad I wasn't holding you guys up I'm def looking forward to riding with you guys again soon

Dave, I think it was my post. Didn't mean to step across the line.
Holy bat wrecks batman!!! Is this thread serious?? This whole I am faster than you BS is stupid ranger. I just hope that both of you involved have learned from the mistakes you made. Ranger, take it to the track and I will show you how slow you are and that there is much more you can learn. And Dave, sorry you had to learn that you can't trust anyone on street rides.

Ahh, ok. No, I didn't mean me, I just didn't think anyone else in this thread mentioned draggin' toe in a bragging way, just an informative way. I certainly wasn't meant to brag on it, I meant that I needed to keep my damn Hobbit feet up on the pegs more! Scared the shit out of me when it happened the first time!

Hold the phone there slick at no point in my posts have i been bragging about the fact that i did drag toe. In my eyes theres nothing good about it. Matty informed me that i was getting close and that i need to tuck my foot in more. In which i thanked him and used his advice. and i dont have toe sliders i have steel toed boots so im not even in the right gear to do such a dumb thing on purpose.
I don't think Vortex was commenting on your foot position, maybe on the fact that you're leaning enough on the street to have to worry about that...
Understandable but there are mitigating circumstances that kinda screw me over in that field. The previous owner of my bike was a short shit and had the bike lowered i am 6' 4" and have not had the chance to have the bike put back to stock so when i was in the lean my foot gets a lot closer than it normally would if it were at its stock height. Saturday was my first "Pace" speed on that bike in those curves. So more than anything it was me getting familiar with my bike. And now i know i need to get that shit put back to stock so im not so close to the ground.
Dave sorry to hear about your mishap man....
Bingo. Although to each their own. If people want to drag knee/toe/face on the street, go ahead, just don't expect sympathy or even a RIP post from me.
Dave! Sell the oak express and get a SUMO!
BTW brennahm, who has two thumbs and will be at IMI racing sumo's on the 17th? This guy.
