I have a pair of Alpinestars street pants that I like a lot, and I'd like to find someone who can add knee pucks for me. Anyone know a good leather person who can do the work and supply the stuff?

Really I think all you need is a big patch of Velcro, as most, if not all, pucks attach via Velcro. Probably not that hard to find, but doubtful somebody who worked strictly with Leater would have much laying around.

Actually, a lot of the people who work on motorcycle leathers do have that stuff laying around. I got a suit repaired and the person rebuilt both knees (with additional padding) and put new velcro on as well. For example, by using the search button, I found this Link. Hopefully this meets your needs for being helpful and informative? /sarcasm
here is where you can get them

I can sell you a pair of used ones that will show you to be a kneedraggin' muthafuka, and I think you should just get some Velcro with adhesive and use 2 sided tape to hold it on. That shit is the bomb!

I am kidding about the tape BTW
See, the way it works is this: I don't want to shop for pucks, buy velcro, and then try to find someone who knows what they're doing. Sure I could do all that, but I stupidly assumed that the fine people here could just turn me on to the correct shop.
It never fails to amaze me how rude some people can get when asked a question they don't feel is worthy of an answer. If you're not going to be helpful, why not just stay out of the thread? I guess it just another example of making yourself feel good by trying to make others feel stupid. Typical internet crap, but I thought the motorcycle community was above that sort of thing.
Thanks to those who have given helpful responses!
