    I need some Army assistance

    What is the appropriate DA Form to use to council an E-4 (SPC). Also, if you happen to know a web site I could go to from home to get a .pdf or .doc

    DA Form 4856, Developmental Counseling Form. Newest 2010 version removed SSNs.

    I've typed up waaay too many of these this month...

    As for a website, try ncoschool.com, there is a whole section for developmental counseling and I'm pretty sure you can download the pdf there. If not I can email you a DA 4856

    I'll do it too for a beer! I'd also love to give it out, more practice right?

    I recommend using PureEdge or Lotus Forms Viewer and doing it electronically. At least the write up, you COULD CAC it too...

    If you need help getting PureEdge, Lotus Forms, or the CAC stuff let me know! I use that stuff a lot at home now, everything is also going to CAC login...

    Let me know if you want to download Lotus Viewer. You have to CAC sign in, and you may have to be Army...

    PS CAC readers go for about $15 - $25.

    I have a CAC reader...just keep trying to stiff-arm using it...work wants me to be able to tele-commute...but I do not want to give them a reason to snatch my personnel computer.

    Just don't tell them? I've had commanders who demand I sign something digitally when I've been on leave ETC. The rules state I A) Have 90 days to do so, B) [Depending on Form] Do not need to sign it unless it is derogatory or punitive etc...

    That's still an option!

    On that note, I just ran 2 miles in the Sonic Merrell barefoot shoes (closed toe). PM me if you want the military account, they list $125, got them for $75. ANYWAY, my calves are smoked I don't think I'll be walking right for awhile.

    I have been looking into the Vibram's. Did you ever try those before the Merrell?

    They use Vibram soles on the Merrell's. I would go with the Merrell's, also if you don't have usstandardissue.com, do it. Also there is also Promotive.com which compiles military deals for different companies. Use code: E49C-C9A4-8285-B852 when signing up! The PX has been carrying the barefoot NB for awhile $85. Looked reasonable...

    I got my hook ups!

    Sounds like you might have figured it out. I'm still willing to help. I have LotusForms, a laser printer AND a CAC reader with ApproveIt and all that installed.
