I like mountains because they make me feel small.
I'll be there with Reyven riding with me...on my handle bars!!!

Sounds like fun......I should make this. I know most of you have never met me but I did meet Dallas at Tejon last year. He can verify that I am just another douche bag if you ask.....LOL
Looks like we're going to have another good turn out. The weather forecast is reasonably good for tomorrow.
See everyone in the A.M.
I'll be there for sure. My buddy isn't making it because he would rather ride his 1198 around town.....lame

Thanks for setting up the ride Clovis, nice to meet everyone. The group of us who split off at 285 headed to Sadalia for lunch. Ride safe guys

Good meeting those of you that made it. To those that didnt, well......You would not have had much fun....LOL
However I must say that next time i go on a group ride i will bring my knobbies. That 10-15 mile trek down 77 and all its gravel glory had me cussing aloud in my helmet. I kept going in hopes that just around the next bend it would be all clean PAVEMENT. Took a while but it did happen eventually. If anyone I met today thinks I may be 'friend' worthy by all means add me.
Brian
Just got back.
I bet you didn't know we were going to do an adventure ride!
77 was a a fun little road until "Severe drop off"... then it was gravel/construction for over 30 miles. We were right behind you Brian until that Escalade decided to make a U-turn in the middle of the road and separated us.
I should have known something was up when MapQuest plotted the route the "long way" down 285 and then Hwy 9.
We pulled over for a few minutes and got passed by two guys on the dual sports actually on an adventure ride.
Oh well, still was fun 250 miles from door to door. No tickets and no crashes, another successful CSC ride.
Wow, sounds interesting. I'm glad we split when we did. I don't like gravel. Glad you all made it safe.

You must have not got your gravel fill on 67... Thanks for getting this together Clovis. Next time keep the sunglasses in your pouch, lol.
I had a great time, I guess I'm glad we did cut it short too. We had a very nice smooth asphalt(even some new) back down 285. We ended up eating at the Sedalia grill. Looking forward to the next ride.
Mary, you ride that BMW very well!
Thanx all for letting this noob with a European bike join ur sport fun. Loved the ride. Glad I opted route "B" :b Maybe I can talk some of you Spring-ers to come up to my hood...when the temps drop a few? Enjoyed meeting the group. And thanx for the pointers. I had a chance to practice a bit on the way home from the grill.
