damn gina!
sweeet, looks like you have the upper hand on the straights!
And 1000cc doesn't hurt
Nice riding wicky! I'm glad you got ont he bike and rode the superstreet class - when you have a minute please post up what you thought of the whole experience.
What did we do well? How can we make it better?

That was awesome! On that first lap dudes be running off that track.
Everyone did a great job of keeping upright though, I think only 1 bike touched the ground. The guy pitted across the way from me looked like he might have gotten a broken hand from another guys clip on hitting his hand.
My view(s) of SS.
Sorry I don't have a fancy camera.
Practice in turn 2
The only launch wheelie I caught.
The starting grid
your drive through 3 is weak...
nice riding man...maybe you can teach me a few things next week
but I think I just need to grow a pair...
Yep, that's what I was telling Jay before the race. If you get 3 nailed down, it does wonders for your top speed on that straight. On the 750, I find that I will often make up time through there on the liter bikes, only to watch them run away once they get upright.
Nice riding out there. How do you feel about your entrance to 4? It sounds like you're losing a lot of engine speed on the downshift. I was doing the same thing and not feeling very good going into that corner until I took Jason Pridmore's class and he changed my thinking on downshifts. (Ask Clarkie about it, as I'm sure he can explain it much better than I can.) This season, I am feeling really good about corner entries as I carry more speed into them. Again, very nice riding out there, buddy.
And I agree with Dave about a bunch of guys doing a good job keeping it upright when they got out of control. There was one guy chirping the tire big time going into 1 and he ran off but kept it upright. He probably could have made the turn, but once the brain stem survival functions take over, it's hard to get the thinking part of the brain back online until it reboots.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Turn 4 felt good to me, I know I can go faster, but a few times I'd downshift 1 too many, and I think that's what you're hearing. My gear indicator isn't finished yet, and it would have been awesome to have for the race. I usually hit 5th on the straight, go down 2 into 3rd for Turn 4, then drop 1 more going into Turn 5. But my gearing is for the street, so I'm only -1, +2.
To add to that, it took me a while to get into a rhythm because people were braking way too early going into 4, and I didn't want to stuff anyone, because no one out there is a racer. I didn't want to be the one to cause someone to crash, just because I know I can take a corner faster than them.
Nice work, mother goose! Thanks for posting that video...sorry to hear about the mechanical problem.
"Insert clever/inspirational quote here."
I have a couple of bikes, they are fun.
Nice riding Wicky! Bummer about the mechanical, but you'll get them next time!
After watching the first lap, I though Wicky was going to get up to second just by people running off?
