Racing 2 Save Lives - Announcement

We would like to let everyone know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Racing 2 Save Lives will not be hosting a charity event at Miller Motorsports Park in 2010. We are hopeful that in future years we will be able to return to Miller Motorsports Park as we are proud of the partnership we've forged with them over the past 4 years. We are actively seeking other opportunities for 2010 and will post updates as things progress.

We appreciate the time and energy that volunteers, sponsors and contributors have already invested in planning for this year's fund raising, and are working hard to ensure that it can be utilized to help children in need this year.

While we understand that you may have many questions regarding this development we ask that you please stay tuned for further updates, and thank you for your continued support of Racing 2 Save Lives!

Wow. This bums me out. Has the committee thought of doing an event at more of a local level?

I know this is a great cause and would hate to see it go away.

Hopefully something else will work out. R2Sl is a great organization and it can't be held down! Let me know if there is anything I can do, Ralph.

That sucks! We were seriously considering head'n out there too. Good luck finding a new place though!

Re: Racing 2 Save Lives - Announcement

I would not think Ralph would joke about this but given the post date... Nothing on the R2SL site about it.

It's not a joke.

Thanks for the support guys, we'll update more when we know something.

Re: Racing 2 Save Lives - Announcement

Any hope for a update soon? Hopefully something in the works still for the fourth I can't find much for a replacement. Found two days in arroyo but I've been there and it wasn't that great. Oh I did find road Atlanta for that weekend but that's to far for me. Hope something works out. This four hour the mra is doing is looking more do able though at least.

Re: Racing 2 Save Lives - Announcement

I don't have anything new to tell you, other than we are currently not looking at anything over that same weekend.
