That's awesome! I'm pretty excited about the future of electric bikes. Plus, it probably doesn't hurt to have ST riding it.

As someone who works on electric motors everyday this makes me smile ear to ear! I can only imagine the throttle response time on this bike has to be amazing! Curious as to what sized motor they stuck in that bad boy most likely a 3600 rpm max output on the motor and an crazy gear reduction in the transmission for the tourqe and higher output speeds!

Just don't ride it near any cliffs/streams or it'll probably kill you...

The 011- E1pc electric motorcycle turned lap times faster than every 600cc motorcycle racing that weekend and on average turned lap times within one to two seconds of those race times from the leading 1,000cc machines. Surprising to most was that the electric MotoCzysz accelerated as fast and achieved the same top speed as the fastest Suzuki GSXR 1000s and Yamaha R1s.
ST was flying on that thing, GOOD JOB BRO!!!

Kinda makes you wonder what they'll race these against, 600's or 1000's?

I assume they'll filter into racing slowly enough they won't get their own class, then again maybe they will...

would think that the classes would ultimately be voltage limited...Yate's bike is ~240hp, but 600+ lbs...but seemed somewhat competative in WERA IIRC.

You could limit the voltage for a class, or just put hp and/or weight limits in place. Easy enough to enforce with a dyno and a scale. Interesting all the ways it could go.

Not sure where CM was going with that one...but I rarely see where he's headed.

    Sarcasm.......Google it........

While technology is interesting in and of itself, not impressed with the electric cars or bikes. The power density is not even close to an ICE, and most likely never will be, so it really doesn't interest me. Yes you can get power.......in the short term, but with electrics, it's either power OR range, not both.

No, you don't, and yes, I am. Thanks for re-affirming that.
