You bet, I'll let you know. Sean T seems alright to deal with every morning. Day 1, the fit test, wasn't too hard and pretty short. I'm excited to get into the workouts.
The endurance stuff is much easier for me, I've been doing it for a few years. In July/aug I was averaging 20-25 miles per week running (along with biking 2-3 hours 2x a week and doing 2 master swims 2x a week!). But there's no jumping, crunches and push-ups in triathlon!
Damn, I don't have a scale. And Wicky, hydration is the key to cardio training! The main ingredient in stout is water (and supreme goodness)
Does anyone work at 24 hr fitness that can hook me up to join???

What happened to Chris? Is he M.I.A.? I though he was going to join in our reindeer games?
I am down 8 lbs. 20 more to go in 25 days.
+1 for the 24 Hour membership. I've been working out there for about 2 years and love the gym.

Day 2 of Insanity complete.
It's really not that bad. Today was just a bunch of high-intensity cardio. Being new to it, I couldn't keep up 100% when they were going really fast, and my form would slip a little, but it wasn't "insane." Although I do really like it and think that it will yield a lot of really good benefits. I'm looking forward to having a base for his exercises, then I think it'll be really fun. Plus, it's something that Angela and I are doing together. Nothing wrong with having an even hotter girlfriend.
I did received this "LivingSocial" deal in my email today. Guess it is good for 2 months at some gym called "Snap Fitness" on south Holly. http://livingsocial.com/deals/100237?ctr=3&msdc_id=858
Also 24 Hour Fitness employees are like car salesmen and will negotiate on prices so don't take their first offer....haggle! Also most will give you a week free, but they will give you the whole "joining" spill and tour.

Down 3 lbs in the first day. If I set my mind to it, I can lose weight fast. Probably helps that I threw up after the first work out. It's been a while.

Damn Wicky, be careful. Anorexia is not a good way to lose weight. Effective yes, but not good.
Proud of you Hito Just don't get discouraged if you do not continue to lose 3 lbs a day because you will start turning fat into muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Using weight to judge results is not the best way because of this, so judge it more on how your clothes are fitting.

It was not by choice. When I use to play basketball all the time, I would throw up from pushing too hard. Guess I'm not used to it anymore.
I know it. I was just surprised it was that much in 1 day. I know I have a lot of fat to lose in there, so my first month or so, I should be dropping some weight like this.

I'm with Sean. I'm sure we all have an idea of what workout works for us and what works for others but i can tell ya i just go to the gym and wing it and hope to get results.
I am tempted to join the P90X though but i heard it's a son of a b*tch.....
I get near throwing up almost every workout; especially legs! Just shows you pushed yourself hard. Also if you are not sweating, you are not working out hard enough!

almost heaved at the end of my run today...

Really? Out of all of my workouts, I think I only almost threw up once this year. And that was trying to ride my bicycle up Olde Stage Rd to fast. Then again, maybe I'm just more manly than you guys are?
I am out of shape...what can I say
