Order placed! I went with the wiring harness which includes the relay for both, was only $15 more so what the hell. I'll update with some pic's after the install. Come on spring...

Cool man, you'll never go back to halogen lol... I bet even your car will get a kit now too

Is this with a 35W ballast or a 55W? If it's with a 35W and a 55W ballast is used, it'll wash out some of the color.
H7 bulbs are single light, no Hi/Lo function. D2S and H4 bulbs have this, I'm sure others do as well.
I've been running a ddm kit in my YZF600R for 3 years, still going strong and I like the lifetime warranty just incase I do have an issue. I'm running a 55W kit with the 6K bulbs I believe, just an ever so slight hint of blue to the light.

I have the DDM kit on my 2008 R1. One of the best mods I've done to the bike. I went with the 6000k 35W kit so I didn't need the wire harness. The 6000 was a little too blue for me, if I did it again, I'd go with the 5000. Easy to install, looks good, and I love it at night. It's amazing how different the lighting is.

One more thing, make sure you get the slim ballast, or else it'll be a pain to fit behind the windscreen.

Going on an r1 35w is more then u need with the head light set up 55w is nice but it's brighter then needed the bulb is also a little bigger.
The 55watt on small headlights tend to bleed light out, 35 is plenty. You want 55watt on cars but DO NOT use on fog lights, they retain too much heat and it'll melt the housing.

Very true. I run 55s on my Beemer and the only because the headlights are glass housings
BMW headlight housings are functional beyond belief, they use incoming air to cool and circulate heat lol, its crazy.

Went with 35w, 6K and slim ballast. They should be hidden away nicely behind my windscreen.
I wouldn't do wind screen clean install just drill the bulb cap and run them under air ducts all send u a link for an install I did
i have the DDM kit on my wifes bike and i've had the DDM kits in various cars. Nice product and I highly recomend them.

This is exactly what I decided to do this winter while the bike's sitting dormant (install a HID kit). I picked up a K&T HID Projector KT-MT2
I am planning to start installing it over the weekend. This kit includes the High/Low beam, Angel and Devil halo's, ballast, and relay.
I like those halo's! I think this will be a great winter mod to do, hope my kit comes soon.
What size drill thingy did you use for the dust cover goose?

I think it was 1". There's a thread on the R1 Forum about it. I'll see if I can find it again.
