    Alpinestars Magnesium toesliders discontinued :(

    Bad news for Alpinestars boots wearers.

    I got an email from motorcyclesuperstore.com that the Magnesium toe sliders have been discontinued. The plastic ones are still available.

    The magnesium ones are a little more expensive ($20 versus $14) but last 3-4x as long.

    If any shops in Colorado still have some for the SMX Plus boots, let me know, I'll buy a few.

    I ordered some sets off eBay but they sent me the plastic ones instead (despite charging me the extra $$$ for the magnesium ones).

    Shit, I have been meaning to get a couple of sets too. I didn't realize it until I made it to LVMS a couple of weekends ago that I am minus one at them moment. Probably lost it when I was riding RC8Rs at Mid Ohio last summer. For some reason, I was dragging toes everywhere on those bikes.
