Womens selections for street riding gear sucks

Wanted to get the wife some riding pants. She's got A-stars jacket, nice helmet, gloves, and leather over the ankle boots but has always been riding in jeans.

Unless a girl wants chaps, the selection on the market sucks. Plenty of helmets and jackets but pants - not so much.

Found this Scorpion pant online with small and medium sizes sold out. Local shops up north have little inventory. Checked out Coyote off I25 as I occasionally have business down there. They actually had one in Small but she needs a Medium. Those guys have always been good to me down there and the pricing is competitive.

Now we wait two weeks for them to come in off back-order.

Chaps are for riders that don't value their a$$.

If you know size, make and model... why wait?

Check out Alpinestars Stella line, and Joe Rocket. Both have significantly broadened their women's gear lines in the last couple of years, including serious protective gear.

because they invested in inventory of which I was able to purchase a size to take home only to find it's too small. Wouldn't be gentlemanly to return it and order online. They made the investment in goods and spending time with me.

Happens to me all the time in my job. Visit a customer 3 times spending my fuel and time to educate them and work through their needs. Then they whore it out on the internet to some clownass who drops his price by 1%. Thanks fucker, how do you think I feed me kid? Internet asshole didn't spend any of his gasoline, wear and tear on a vehicle, or time he could have been working with someone who appreciates the value of my knowledge.

knee pucks on a pillon just don't seem right. Maybe Grim's wife can pull it off. I've ridden behind them before.

Lots of options here - http://www.compacc.com/Apparel-Womens-Street-Pants

Oh and believe me, there are way more options for women now than when I started riding!

not seeing anything there that we hadn't looked at but thanks. She thought it was all either too bland, too much like snowboard pants, knee dragging, cruiser riding, etc...

There's a wide range of ladies jackets with nice styling and fit. But the pants seem to lack quite a bit.

We were talking about getting her some pants with pucks to see how close we can get both of our knees to the ground.

I missed the part where you mentioned time invested by the retailer. Good on you for giving them business. I figured it was your typical "we can order it" dismissal from the dealership (personally, it erks my when I want to throw them business and I get blown off with that. I can order it just the same)...

If they spent the time working with you, then by all means reward that behavior.

    carry on.
