Oh wow, I didn't even notice him last time. That's pretty cool, hope he makes a perfect record and is sorted by the next SS .
PS I hope CaneZach is ok. He had a nice high side on 2 when he nipped the dirt. Joe was right there, glad you didn't hit him or the bike. Dunno if I should upload it, he got up pretty quick as I can see on the video.

Its not how fast you go, its how little you slow down.
BTW. Sorry for the thread jack spiderman. We need a new thread for July 28 SS and have pertinent posts transferred. Thanks mods.

{EDITED}
Was on the lapping day, Friday. Would have had a sweet one, but Joe brilliantly had his camera pointed at his Speedo . Hold up that upload is garbage, let me try again.

Video from his POV which makes that move look much less dramatic. (Full race)

I wish I could have stayed and watched the SS race, but family was waiting for me to get home. Congrats to all the SS riders!
Yes, it's a long day especially when there are a few dozen riders, but for the uninitiated, it's a great way to get a taste of racing / a race day. For those of you talking about licensing up, do it!

Keeping it midpack since 2010!
He was on the line and made unpredictable move off of the line. He should have stayed to the left since that is where you want to be for 12. You don't need to use the whole track when cornering.
It is just a taste of racing, and a way for you to do it with out prepping a bike. It is also a cheaper way to a license with more opportunity to get input from different instructors.
1/2 day lapping is $90 pre registered without a lapping card discount. With sessions you get 2 hours. Endurance is $80 and you get (3) 20 min. practices in the morning wait around almost all day and a 30 min. race were they keep track of places and give out trophies. And if you spend the night you get (2) 25 min. practice sessions Sunday morning and then you can watch all kinds of racing both days and make a good weekend out of it.
Track days are great fun but there is nothing like actually racing!
My pics from a point and shoot, there were more but many were unusable.

Yea I don't care, They aren't pro quality or anything.
Hey sean on the wrapped CBR 600. I know you had a great first time in SS even though you did bring out the 2nd red flag. Minimal damage to your bike. Get it back out there and lets work on your body positioning before your footpegs disappear
Yeah nice job! Looked like you guys were having fun from my point of view (turn 5). It was fun watching for sure and also spotted some of you from details above.
