Oh and I will never own another unplated bike, whether it comes titled or I have to go through the PIA process. Next year I hear they will be enforcing the OHV registration on all bikes including plated on Forest Service land.

Not just bikes but plated 4x4's. I went around and around on this for my Jeep as to whether or not I needed a sticker and the answer was a firm yes. Just a heads up to anyone who 'wheels here in CO. I didn't mind the $25 for the sticker / registration, but lack of clear and definitive information was so frustrating.

Keeping it midpack since 2010!
Not to mention that no states seem to carry any reciprocity with other states any longer either. Most states would usually give you a two week grace period to vacation and enjoy their trails provided you were legal in your home state.
But now if you want to use the trail system in another state, they are forcing everyone to have that state's sticker. How the state can force you to have a sticker to use FEDERAL land and have it hold up in court is beyond me. I was told it was challenged somewhere and upheld but I have no supporting information.
