I did that in high-school once with a Big-Slam bottle. Made a huge boom. Tons of fun.

Big-Slam bottles were *thee* best, for dry ice bombs. They had the mother of all lids on them, and wouldn't just blow their cap off.
Oh... and by the Way Fly Boy... I think that Lurch uses actual explosives in his rigs.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

I wouldn't put making a dry ice bomb past Lurch, his would just leave a crater 3 feet deep and 20 feet in diameter... In concrete...

hehe, I remember making dry ice bombs! We used to use, ummm, I think Big K bottles (the ones that were 3 liters?) because you could make a bigger boom. Acetylene in balloons was fun too....ahhh, the good old days.
And Fly boy....Lurch makes things that go boom for real

yeah, I heard something about that....
But at 46 years old, would you not think that you would know better than to let an explosive filled balloon roll across your seat?

I still luv making these. (dry ice) I always add the ice first and then put as much water in as possible. Then put the cap on and go..
Picking them up like that scares me! If they don't blow up, out comes the BB gun or powderless 22.
Surprisingly sometimes the smaller bottles are louder then the 2liters.
Neb's got it right!
I was always a fan of not overdoing the water, but making sure to use hot H2O. It really kicked the sublimation of the dry ice into overdrive, as opposed to cold or room temp water. You better cap that bitch and run like hell though!
Ever shoot one with your bb gun, and *not* have it explode, but just bounce the bb off into space with a loud "PLINK!!" sound?

No, but then again we do have things larger than a BB gun too.Originally Posted by ~Barn~";p="259659
We should have a CSC Dry Ice "device" contest... Judged on size, noise, time to explode, creativity, and whether it needed to be "helped" ( ) along. Naturally this would be bad to do somewhere that law enforcement is likely to care.
That would be just way too much fun.Originally Posted by rforsythe";p="259676
