Many thanks. Was as I've suspected. I used to be baffled by the question of rejetting with exhaust and airbox changes. Had to do some reading and learned about pressure waves and exhaust tuning and thus suspected this would be the case here. The problem with older exhaust systems was that they were really only good at high rpm or at low rpm but you couldn't tune the engine and exhaust to get the most possible through the whole range.
