Sorry about your buddy but trust me you are not the only one to have a friend pass while riding. I was helping my buddies girl who was tangled up in barbwire. They both died. We were doing 35. Im more than well aware of the dangers.

Im sorry about your friends too man. I understand your perspective as well that you cant live by "what if's", otherwise none of us would ride. Sometimes I over think things, and they irk me. Since I have become a family man I think of stuff like this when I imagine it happening to me I guess. Take care, live long and ride hard.

I'm all for having fun and riding fast and as much as I respect the skills needed to ride like that (well beyond my own abilities) I think that belongs on the track.

In case you didn't know what townie looks like, here you go.

Not an actual photo, but the resemblance is uncanny.

Listen to the back of the bike when they are backing it in. It sounds like they are standing on the rear break to make it look like they are backing it in. None-the-less these guys are still doing some stupid shit on public roadways.

I didn't realize they had the cameras rolling during the 2nd day of my basic motorcycle classes. I think the hardest part about that day was convincing my d**k, it was safe to come out again.
