As I have never installed a chain before, I listened to a guy who said you can rivet the master link with a vise grip. Come to try it, and there's no way. I tried using a C clamp but its just too hard. I was going to go buy one at Powersports in boulder but they're not open until tuesday!So I was just wondering if there's anyone close to Erie (15 minutes east of boulder) that would let me borrow their riveting tool. I'm borrowing my neighbors tools and would like to have them back today, which is why I'm not going to just order one.
Can anyone help? I would be very thankful!
