    Cool Swing arm bushings

Does anyone know how hard is to install new bushings on the rear swing arm axle? I have an 05 Ninja 636. Attempting it this weekend and some pointers would be nice. Do I need a presser to install them? Thanks guys

First thing you need is a maintenace manual. It will explain the procedure in detail.

I've done this on a few of my bikes... not difficult imo (since I can do it). Needle bearings MUST be pressed in. They sell special tools or you can make/rig something yourself. I generally keep the swing arm at a warm-ish temp and throw the bearings in the freezer. Then press the needle type bearings in or for sealed bushings/bearings (like for shocks or wheels) just gently tap them in. Plenty of instructional vids out there on the topic too.

    Good luck!

Yup thats what the dealer told me. I do have the service manual. I just wanted to know if I have all the right info before I get on it.

Just found out I need this tool to remove it. Does anyone happen to have it and can I borrow it?
